西方非洲英语文学研究的偏离及其在非洲本土的疏离Deviation of the Studies of African English Literature in the West and Its Alienation from African Indigenous Values

摘要(Abstract)：
西方非洲英语文学研究经过半个多世纪的积累,数量丰硕、成绩斐然,并形成了相应的批评话语和阐释模式。然而这种围绕殖民话语建立起来的研究方法明显呈现出一种对非洲英语文学本体的偏离。偏好解读非洲英语小说中的政治主题,忽视非洲英语戏剧的本土文化,漠视非洲英语诗歌的人文情怀,并在西方中心审美下的"普遍主义"倾向中,形成了近年来与非洲本土日渐疏离的流散研究。了解西方非洲英语文学研究的偏离,可以避免我们在向西方学习和借鉴现有成果时落入西方的话语陷阱,同时也可以帮助我们更好地以中国学者的主体意识积极地参与到与非洲文学文化的平等对话交流中。

- ② 多丽丝·莱辛虽未取得非洲国籍,常被视为英国作家,但她是南非英国殖民者后代,且在津巴布韦生活二十多年,不少作品都在描写非洲经历,因此不妨将其视作非洲英语作家。
- (1)非洲英语写作(African Writing in English)最早可追溯到18世纪奴隶贸易盛行时的奴隶叙事(slave narrative),如奥劳达·伊奎亚诺(Olaudah Equiano,1745—1797)的《奥劳达·伊奎亚诺的生活趣事记闻》(The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano,1789),但真正具有文学意义的非洲英语写作形成于19世纪末。
- (2)殖民话语的理论建构是二战后通过对殖民文化的对抗性批判发展起来的。最初见于弗朗兹·法农(Frantz Fanon,1925—1961)的《黑皮肤,白面具》,经爱德华·赛义德(Edward Said,1935—2003)《东方主义》等著作阐发,于20世纪80年代开启了后殖民理论建构,此后经比尔·阿什克罗夫特(Bill Ashcroft)等人的《逆写帝国》、罗伯特·扬(Robert Young)的《白色神话》、霍米·巴巴(Homi Bhabha)的《文化的位置》和佳亚特里·斯皮瓦克(Gayatri Spivak)的《后殖民理性批判》等学者著作对解构主义、心理分析学、女性主义和新马克思主义批评的借鉴运用得以拓宽发展。
